“The Montrose Table”
This unique reclaimed dining table is built by hand from railway boxcar flooring! The planks are retired from the boxcars after one million miles of use traveling across America, giving it a unique story and history! Decades of use gives the woods a rustic and rich color with beautiful character distressed marks.
The planks are made from mostly maple and some oak and is formed in a tongue and groove butcher block style which makes the wood stable and prevents bowing and cupping.

Each plank is hand picked and will have it’s own unique shape, color, and grain pattern. No two pieces will be alike. The table is finished with a layer epoxy to fill in most cracks and gaps and then finished a high quality polyurethane.
Legs will be detached for shipping purposes. Some leg assembly will be required. A screwdriver will be needed to attach the legs. There are pre-drilled holes in the wood for easy assembly.
This table can be customized and also makes for a great desk, bench, coffee or console table. Different length and sizes can also be made as well as different leg types.
