1. Overview

MQ Woodworking creates handcrafted, made-to-order furniture from solid hardwoods. Each piece is built to your specifications. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept the nature of custom woodworking.

2. Orders & Payment

  • All items are made to order unless otherwise noted.

  • A deposit or full payment is required to begin production.

  • Prices may vary based on materials, design changes, or custom dimensions.

  • Accepted payment methods include major credit cards, PayPal, and bank transfers.

3. Lead Times

  • Standard production time is typically 8–10 weeks, depending on the size and complexity of the piece.

  • Estimated timelines are provided at the time of purchase but are subject to change.

4. Cancellations & Refunds

  • Orders may be canceled within 48 hours of purchase for a full refund.

  • After 48 hours, your deposit becomes non-refundable due to the custom nature of our work.

  • Completed custom pieces are non-refundable unless damaged in transit.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • We ship locally in Chicago and offer national delivery on select pieces.

  • Shipping costs are calculated at checkout or included in custom quotes.

  • MQ Woodworking is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, or unforeseen circumstances.

6. Wood Disclaimer

  • Each piece is made from solid hardwood and will feature unique grain patterns, color variations, and natural imperfections.

  • These are not defects, but part of the character and beauty of handmade wood furniture.

7. Damaged Items

If your piece arrives damaged:

  • Notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damage.

  • We will work with you to repair, replace, or resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

8. Intellectual Property

All designs, images, text, and content on this site are the property of MQ Woodworking and may not be used or reproduced without permission.
